GRAND CANYONSCOPE

With Disney's release of THE CHRONOLOGICAL DONALD Volume 4, we have available a wealth of new material.

Here is the first set of background art, from GRAND CANYONESQUE, by Eyvind Earle. In Cinemascope!

DONALD'S HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Here's the opening title and utopian suburbian CA neighborhood that opens DONALD'S HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

Love this layout, especially the threehouse!

IN A NUTSHELL (1949)

Here's the title card and a digitally recontructed pan background from IN A NUTSHELL (1949).

Disney sure makes perfection look easy!

AT HOME WITH DONALD DUCK (1956)

This background art is from interstitial material specially created for one of the early Disneyland TV shows, AT HOME WITH DONALD DUCK (1956). I'd never seen this before tonight. So I enjoyed seeing it, finally, as well as digitally recreating its B/G art. I hope you enjoy it too!
